In an effort to share history with his 9 year old son, a notable patron of André requested that we bring in an expert on the caves of Lascaux along with master plasterers and master decorative painters to help.
Knowing history
Together with the young boy a journey was started that took everyone through field trips to Limestone Mines and discussions about the lime cycle, ancient roman ways of rendering plaster, fresco painting and pigments.
This is now an often discussed and fond memory of the André team. An example set by a caring father that we all benefited from. Ultimately resulting in a timeless masterpiece permanently placed on the child’s room which we will dwell in for years to come.
