The Sensei of this dojo wanted his students to appreciate the value of learning an ancient art, so he requested the team at André to create a space for him that represented the authenticity of that era, while maintaining the privacy needed for a workout. 

The team designed natural elements on the window glass, to obscure viewing but allow light to pass through. Then, the team installed a handmade lime plaster and important kanji to set the tone for Sensei and his teaching.
