The translucent, subtle, organic look in this space was achieved with a classic French patina. The client wanted movement but wasn’t fond of the American style faux finishes. The technique for a French patina has been misinterpreted by Americans and results in sponging and ragging. The team at André uses traditional methods which produces this beautiful, disappearing motion on the surfaces.
