Retreating to the bedroom midday to read a book and drink some tea sounds amazing!

This bedroom, per the architect, afforded the luxury of a large sitting area. To the patron’s delight, a mural was suggested for the space. During the initial interview, the André team heard many emotional descriptors that the client used to describe her vision. What resonated the most was that at the time her children were all falling in love and getting married and this reminded her of a romantic moment she shared with her husband. 

To turn this concept into reality, the team chose to paint in a fantasy style with slightly exaggerated proportions and vague open spaces so that the viewers first feeling is to be invited into the emotions of a romantic couple.
